Julia (she/her) uses the person-centered approach to therapy and works to create a safe and non-judgmental environment for collaborative work with her clients. Julia’s approach to therapy is trauma-informed and holistic as she aims to help you through whatever inspired you to courageously seek therapy. Julia’s clinical experience includes working with clients and families experiencing symptoms related to depression, bipolar disorder, those with autism, anxiety, and those with acute and chronic medical diagnoses. Julia has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in various settings.
Through open discussion and empathetic listening, Julia collaborates with her clients to identify, reframe, and artistically process whatever may be impacting their ability to be the active leader in their life. Julia wholeheartedly believes that each person has the potential for change within them and is passionate about her clients finding that power.
Julia believes that you are the expert on yourself, and as such, each session focuses on what you want to talk about. Based on what you bring into each session, Julia artistically and verbally works with you to navigate every possible aspect. This can range from a structured to a very open process based on what works best for you.
