Moray DiMartino (she/her) is a registered Dance/Movement Therapist, and Creative Arts Therapist. She received her master’s degree in Dance/Movement Therapy from Pratt Institute in 2021.
Moray assists you by guiding the conversation through both the body and mind, bringing connection to the two. She has worked with patients and families through transitional periods of immense grief and complex trauma. She specializes in using the body as a key source of information for clients of all ages. She has facilitated individual, group, and family sessions to create positive emotional regulation and coping for those experiencing anxiety, stress, fogginess, mental illness and chronic illness. The use of movement allows a person to more clearly hone in on their individual identity, fostering growth and healing as a whole.Through mindfulness, emotional awareness and body awareness, Moray helps shift the perspective of the self to a more positive, compassionate and empathetic tone through being an active listener to the self and body. This can allow us to create space within our own body and mind to heal first before becoming the best version of ourselves for others.
