Nick is a therapist that takes a person-centered approach to your therapeutic process. He aims to create a safe and welcoming environment for you to explore any and all aspects of who you are and what you hope to get out of the therapeutic partnership.
Nick received his MA in Forensic Mental Health Counseling from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. He has many years of experience working to help improve the lives of justice-involved individuals, LGBTQIA+ folks, unhoused individuals, those suffering from addiction, and many others. He specializes in working with clients with a history of trauma and employs aspects of several therapeutic modalities, namely Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and the Psychodynamic Approach.
